Our BP® high-visibility waistcoats in accordance with EN ISO 20471 (high-visibility class 1, from size 48/50 class 2). High visibility waistcoats in orange or yellow. Classic high-visibility waistcoats or high-visibility thermal waistcoats with fleece inserts and extended back. High-visibility waistcoats can be ideally combined with other high-visibility clothing from the BP® repertoire. PPE waistcoats with integrated UV protection in accordance with standard 801.
A high-visibility waistcoat in accordance with EN ISO 20471 is usually made of bright fluorescent material in bright colours such as high visibility yellow or high visibility orange. These colours make the wearer stand out clearly from their surroundings and make them highly visible during the day. The waistcoat is also equipped with retroreflective strips that reflect light, e.g. from vehicles, and increase visibility in low light conditions or in the dark.
PPE waistcoats are used in various work environments, including construction sites, road work, rail transport and other hazardous environments where high visibility is crucial to prevent accidents. By wearing a high-visibility waistcoat, workers can be better recognised, which increases safety and reduces the risk of accidents. It is important to note that compliance with the EN ISO 20471 standard for high-visibility waistcoats ensures that they meet the required safety standards. Employers should ensure that their employees in hazardous working environments are equipped with high-quality high-visibility waistcoats to ensure their visibility and safety.
