BP Med&Care – now even more comfortable, lighter and more sustainable

With the concept collection BP Med&Care, BP has been setting standards in clothing for healthcare and nursing professions for years. The modular system stands for variety, perfect fit and individuality – true to the motto: “Because everyone is different.” Now the collection has been expanded: new tunic models and a modern pull-on trouser have been added to the range. In doing so, BP relies on Tencel fibers, which ideally combine comfort, sustainability and practicality.

Tencel – high-tech fiber for caregivers and the environment

Work in the healthcare and nursing sector is demanding, both physically and mentally. That’s why workwear should not be a burden, but rather a relief. This is exactly where Tencel fibers show their strengths: they are naturally light, soft, breathable and cooling. This ensures a noticeably more pleasant wearing experience, especially during strenuous shifts. In addition, the fabrics dry quickly, are durable, and are perfectly suited for hygienic washing in textile services. Laundries also benefit from lower washing temperatures, which saves energy and reduces costs.

For wearers, this means: more freedom of movement, less strain, and clothing that still feels comfortable even after long shifts. For the environment, Tencel means sustainably sourced raw materials, a resource-saving production process and up to twenty times lower water consumption compared to cotton.

New models, fresh colors, more individuality

With the current additions, BP is launching two new pull-on tunic models – one specially for women, one in a unisex fit – as well as an extremely comfortable pull-on trouser with smart pocket. The functional pocket is designed so that smartphones and pens are always within easy reach. All new items are made of a lightweight fabric blend (180 g/m²), combining stability with freedom of movement.

The collection has also evolved in terms of fashion: in addition to classics such as white and sky blue, there are now fresh colors such as kiwi, peach and raspberry. These can be harmoniously combined with existing products, enabling healthcare facilities, departments and teams to present a uniform appearance – while still allowing room for individual expression.

“More comfort, sustainable materials and fashionable variety – that’s what modern workwear for healthcare professionals is all about.”
